About The Role

We are searching for a performance driven individual with vast membership sales experience to take ownership of new joiner acquisition.

What you’ll be doing…

Reporting to the Managing Director and in close collaboration with the Operations, Marketing, and IT teams, you will lead the new joiner acquisition efforts across the full business. More specifically:

  • Define and lead the sales strategy, including full planning and execution to deliver against joiner volume and yield targets.
  • Identify, test, and roll out opportunities to grow our prospect base, increase web traffic and improve joiner conversion.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to optimise the Pricing and Promotional plans to achieve full estate objectives and local tactical opportunities.
  • Spend the high proportion of your time in clubs; training, developing, and supporting Club General Managers, Member Experience Managers and wider teams to improve local activity, grow their prospect base and increase conversion.
  • Partner with the marketing team to define acquisition targets and activity across all digital and physical channels.
  • Support the Head of Strategy & Planning with corporate membership activity and key account growth.
  • Analysing results to identify opportunities to improve performance across all sales KPIs.

About You

What are we looking for?

  • 5+ years’ experience in a membership sales management role
  • A proven track record of achieving volume and revenue targets in a membership subscription business
  • Experience with coaching and training teams and individuals to improve sales skillsets
  • A keen interest in fitness is essential; understanding our core target customer and how our product and services are connected is critical
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A creative mind with the confidence to share exciting ideas to improve performance
  • Excellent collaboration / team player, communication and organisational skills.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, with an entrepreneurial mind-set
  • Proactive individual with a healthy ‘can do’ attitude
  • A knowledge of digital marketing is advantageous
  • Experience with multi-site management is advantageous
