Cleaner - Male ( Part Time 20 hours)

As a General Assistant at Fitness First, you'll be the backbone of our club’s cleanliness and upkeep. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards will ensure that our facility remains a safe, hygienic, and inviting space for all members. Please note that only male applicants ought to apply due to working in the male changing rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining Cleanliness and Hygiene: Keep the fitness club spotless and hygienic, following directions to ensure every area meets our high standards.
• Member Satisfaction: Anticipate the needs of our members, delivering exceptional service that fosters loyalty and satisfaction.
• Professional Appearance: Maintain a professional appearance by adhering to the company dress code and personal grooming standards.
• Training and Development: Participate in all required training courses to stay updated and improve your skills.
• Routine Maintenance: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checks, promptly reporting any issues to the Duty Manager.
• Tool and Equipment Management: Help manage and maintain all cleaning tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
• Health and Safety: Use all equipment and chemicals safely, in compliance with COSHH regulations, to protect yourself and everyone in the facility.
• Risk Management: Identify and communicate any potential risks or issues to the General Manager to maintain a safe environment.
• Fire Safety: Implement and follow all fire prevention and evacuation procedures as outlined in the Emergency Action Plan.
• Adherence to Policies: Strictly follow all company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Administrative Duties: Record all visits to the fitness club using the Plus 2 system accurately.
• Additional Duties: Take on any other tasks necessary to support the business’s needs.
